For over two decades and counting, Joseph Stevenson has been the voice of an ever evolving musical landscape. In its current incarnation (over five years on WYBF) "The Pit" has been the authority on Progressive Rock, Jazz, Jam and New Age music, with a tip of the hat to more intelligent Pop and music a little left of center. It's not unusual to hear Genesis with Frank Zappa, Jethro Tull with Ween, John Coltrane with Jellyfish. Over the years Joe's prowess as an interviewer has afforded him the luxury of interviewing dozens of bands of many musical genres, including members of such musical legends as Led Zeppelin, The Allman Brothers Band, King Crimson, Genesis, Jethro Tull, The Ramones, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Rancid, Little Feat, Kansas, Nirvana, Dream Theater, Yes, Black Flag, The Misfits, Cheap Trick, Government Mule, Fishbone, George Clinton, War, Meatloaf, Jewel, and a multitude of others.
