Hey! My name is Amanda Carson and I am excited to be the new News Director for WYBF. Listen to me every Wednesday at 12 p.m. for my one hour news show "Noon News." I will be discussing current news topics and keeping you informed on the latest news stories. Also, stay tuned on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. for my show "Manda's Music." I will be playing your top-forty hits with a mix of lost '90s jams. My music taste is broad so don't be surprised if I throw in a couple oldies or country songs.
I am a junior this year at Cabrini and am a dual major in English and communication. Aside from my position on WYBF I am the News Editor for Cabrini's newspaper The Loquitur, and will host a monthly segment "Live From The Loquitur Newsdesk" on Cabrini's webshow Loqation. I am also a member of our first-year honor society Alpha Delta and have previously served as secretary. Dancing has always been a huge part of my life, so I am fortunate to be a member of the Cabrini Dance Team.
