NICHOLAS GULDIN - ASSISTANT SPORTS DIRECTOR

Heyyyyoooo! What's up to every one who is interested in checking out my profile? Let me give you some history about me and WYBF FM The Burn. I was in the midst of choosing which school to go to. I had a couple different choices. My mom and I decided to go check out Cabrini College one more time but this time we decided that we would get a tour of the campus. We went to all the different buildings like the library, Grace Hall, and the Mansion. Everything was pretty mediocre. Then we decided to go to Founder's Hall and check out the communications wing they have there. Our tour guide took us down the hallway and into WYBF's station. That was it for me. I knew that Cabrini was where I wanted to go just from a quick glance at the station.

I am a sophomore now and loving every minute of it. I got associated with the station right away in my first semester of my freshmen year. I have a few other activities in my life that I have to attend to as well. Some of them are: Loquitur, intramural flag football and soccer, Student Ambassador and Loqation.

Music has always been a major part of my life. I've played instruments since I was a small child. Some of these instruments are the: piano, trombone, drums, and guitar. The next instrument I hope to pick up is the violin. I cannot play all of these instruments to this day but it shows my interest in music at a young age. My mom always used to put in the Oasis cassette, What's the Story(Morning Glory)?, and play it for my sisters and I when we were small. I was and still am one of those people who can just listen to music constantly. I rarely enjoy silence in my life. That is why I love the radio so much because it helps me to avoid the quiet moments.

I also enjoy all types of music like Classical, Rock, Rap, Hip-Hop, Techno, Jazz, Blues, Oldies, Punk and everything in between. If you enjoy all types of music as well then tune into my show on Thursdays at 5pm-7pm and revel in some amazing tunes. But most importantly join me to "avoid the silence" in our lives.
